Family Photos

We had the best family photo session a couple of months ago. The pictures turned out great and we actually had fun taking them! Rylee's 4, Bennett's 2. They LOVE each other and then, just as quickly, want to tease, annoy, and kill each other. It could drive a person crazy!

We did it! We survived Bennett's 1st year!

We did an owl themed birthday, thanks to my Pinterest research. Green and blue.

Chris is the main cook in our house. He made a delicious homemade taco soup and chili.

Bennett got clothes, money, toys, a pillow pet light, and a lava lamp for his gifts. He loves watching the lava lamp and pillow pet light at night. He even pushes the button and turns it on himself. Most of his cousins were able to come. He had fun playing with (and showing off for) everyone.

Bennett didn't waste any time before digging into his cake!

He didn't eat much of it, but he LOVED playing in it!

It seems like Bennett jumped into todderhood. He's talking more, cruising along things, and all around more active since his birthday. Something clicked and he is no longer content just chillin'. I have the feeling the next year will be far from boring! I'm excited to see the adventures this little boy brings to our home. I love him!

FINALLY Took Family Photos!

They turned out pretty cute, despite a grouchy 4 month old Bennett. Rylee was tons of fun for the first 15 minutes, while Bennett was asleep, then she got sick of taking pictures. Since the photo session she has been imitating our photographer every chance she gets. "Say 'stinky butterfly!' Say 'cheese!' Put Bennett on your hip. Don't move. Put him on your knee. Smile!" It's pretty adorable. Crystal Spencer Photography, here's your shout out! Rylee wants to be just like you when she grows up. Wheeler Farm was the perfect setting for pictures and Pinterest gave us some cute poses to work with.

Please let me know if you would like prints, which ones, what sizes, etc. LVU!
