4 Months

Rylee is 4 months already! She had another set of immunizations. I hate immunizations! She sleeps horribly for the next few nights.

We're working really hard to get a sleep schedule and routine going for her. She does not take very good naps during the day. When she woke up last night, we let her cry herself back to sleep twice. It's a hard thing to do. But she woke up very happy this morning. We'll keep trying to encourage longer sleep periods at night and more consistent daytime napping. Chris & I need it!

She drools a lot, but doesn't seem to be getting teeth yet. I'm glad!

She sure loves her daddy! She falls asleep in his arms whenever she can.

She wants to sit up. She tries on her own. It's pretty entertaining. She enjoys sitting in her chair for a few minutes, but then she gets bored and wants to do something else. She gets bored very quickly!

She's such a happy baby, it's easy to love her.

She's been watching college basketball with her dad and Grandpa Mortensen. We love when he comes to visit! Grandma Francom came to visit, but of course we didn't get any pictures. Dang it! Hopefully she'll come visit again soon and I'll remember to pull out the camera.

Is Rylee sitting on your counter? I thought that was against the "RULES"? HAHA

Oh she is too cute! I can't believe she is 4 months old already! Have you heard of the book "The Baby Whisperer?" It was recommended to me when Connor was a baby. He had colic & had a HORRIBLE sleep schedule going. Well, once I put him on the routine she suggested, he started sleeping through the night almost instantly. I've started my other kids on the routine when they were 2 or 3 days old & they all (well Aiden & Cohen...not sure about Vivvie yet) were sleeping through the night at 3 months. Anyway, just a thought. It's a fast read & really funny too.

She's so cute, Aimee! And my kids drool for about a month before the teeth actually pop through, so she is actually teething even if the teeth haven't shown themselves yet. That's what Will's doing right now too and I hate it. Drool monkeys. ;)
